TENTISHEV ASIAN MEDICAL INSTITUTE, established in 2004 and registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, is located at 58 Gagarin Street, Kant city. The institute is recognized in the World Health Organization (W.H.O) Directory, Avicenna Directory, and FAIMER. Graduates with medical qualifications from the institute are eligible to take screening tests and gain recognition for their degrees worldwide. ASMI has received accreditation from independent agencies like “EdNet” and “AAOPO” and applied for international accreditation from IAAR in April 2021.

The institute offers three licensed programs in higher professional education:

  • General Medicine (MD): 5 years, English medium

  • General Medicine (MD): 6 years, English medium

  • Dentistry (BDS/DDS): 5 years, English/Russian medium

TENTISHEV ASIAN MEDICAL INSTITUTE trains qualified medical specialists for both Kyrgyzstan and international countries, including Pakistan, India, Nepal, Nigeria, the USA, Turkey, Egypt, Somalia, Russia, and CIS nations. Students from 15 countries currently study here. Over eight batches of students have graduated and are now working in their home countries after successfully passing licensing exams like NEB/NLE, MCI/NEXT, MDCN, USMLE, PLAB, and others.

The institute’s academic staff includes doctors and candidates of medical science. With a blend of modern training programs, advanced technology, and qualified educators, the institute ensures high-quality medical education. Clinical training takes place both in Kant and Bishkek, the capital city. The institute collaborates with many national medical institutions and scientific centers, focusing on both fundamental and applied medical research.
